Hey there, Black Flamingos! AKA Florida goths. Please ignore the click baity title! I just want to post something up about some of the events coming our way this year! We’re barely into February and there’s already a killer line up of events, shows, and even a festival. You read that right, a festival.
Promoters all over that state are working their asses off this year to bring us some really special shows. So here they are, in chronological order. Let’s get out there and show some love! Check out our full list events page for a calendar of all shows coming up that I know of.
First though, I’m going to tell you about the festival going on in October first because I’m incredibly excited and quite frankly, it deserves to be at the top.
Absolution Fest 2019 @Crowbar and Orpheum (Tampa)- October 4th & 5th
Communion After Dark and Endoxa Booking are bringing Tampa a two day festival unlike anything the city’s ever seen. The entire 12 band line up is made up of some of the very best modern post-punk and darkwave bands from the US. Check out the list of bands!

Another Communion After Dark and Endoxa Booking presents. It’s a bit disappointing that SEXTILE broke up and dropped off the tour, but VOWWS is a really solid replacement.

Monotone in Miami is bringing out Hante. This is only one of just THREE US shows, and it’s a NO COVER show! Can’t beat that.
Diary of Dreams @The Orpheum (Tampa) - May 6th
Communion After Dark and Endoxa Booking are bringing darkwave act Diary of Dreams to Tampa for an exclusive Florida show. With MISS FD and Finite Automata.
She Past Away @Crowbar (Tampa) - July 19th
I think second to Absolution, this is the show I’m most looking forward to! She Past Away in the US?? Yes!
